EV charger installation in Miskolc

For a home, an apartment building or a company car park: we survey the installation, size the circuit and protection, and help prepare the paperwork if a capacity upgrade is needed.

A model of a home EV charger, distribution board and tidy cable route

Charging an electric car at home is convenient and safe when the charger runs on its own, correctly sized circuit with the right protection. Installing a wallbox is therefore more than mounting the unit: the available capacity, the number of phases, the condition of the distribution board and the cable route all need checking. In Miskolc and the Borsod region we handle the installation from survey to handover, in houses, apartment buildings and company premises. Where the work needs approval from the grid operator or must be carried out by an authorised specialist, we say so in advance and help with the preparation.

  1. On-site survey

Available capacity, phases, the condition of the board, the cable route and the charging point location.

    / 01
  2. Choosing the charger

Power matched to the car's AC charging capability and to the building's connection.

    / 02
  3. Sized circuit and protection

A dedicated circuit with a circuit breaker and residual-current protection as the manufacturer specifies.

    / 03
  4. Capacity upgrade preparation

If capacity is short, we list what the upgrade requires and help prepare the application.

    / 04
  5. Load management

Dynamic load balancing so charging does not overload the connection; optional solar coordination.

  6. Testing and handover

We test the finished circuit, commission the charger and show you how to use it.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does EV charger installation cost?
It depends on the charger, the distance and route from the distribution board, the condition of the installation and whether a capacity upgrade is needed. We give an itemised quote after the on-site survey.
Which charger power should I choose for home?
A 7.4 kW single-phase or an 11 kW three-phase charger suits most homes. The car's AC charging capability and the building's connection decide what is worthwhile.
Is a permit needed for a wallbox?
If the existing capacity is sufficient, the charger can be installed within your own installation. If an upgrade is needed or the metering point is affected, the grid operator's approval is required and some steps can only be done by an authorised specialist. We clarify this during the survey.
Do you install chargers in apartment buildings and company car parks?
Yes. In apartment buildings the owners' association usually has to approve work on common property; with several chargers, load management is essential.
Can charging follow solar production?
Yes. With load management or a smart-home system, charging can follow your solar generation.
